Tower Technician / Tester
Hayden Tower Service is looking for dedicated people to join their team. Currently they need tower technician’s/tester staff. These individuals are responsible for troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions in the tower’s lighting and transmitting equipment. The individual works at heights up to 1500ft.They perform tower site audits & inspections required by the telecommunication industry and the customer. They install updated lighting systems and replace malfunctioning transmitting equipment. They test completed sights to ensure all equipment is working properly prior to releasing the site to the customers. They notify Project Management of any problems and send all test results in prior to the stated deadline. They discuss any site problems with Project Management and the customer and are responsible for ordering the required parts needed to successfully complete the job. They also help tower crews when needed. They drive company vehicles to the construction site and use these vehicles to deliver material to other construction sites across the Continental United States.
Required Skills: Candidates must have a HS diploma and work experience in the tower industry or electronics field or have a degree in telecommunications or electronics. They need knowledge of the Communication Tower construction processes. The successful candidates must have good communication and customer service skills. They must be able to lift 80 lbs, have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a DOT physical.
Compensation: Hayden Tower pays a competitive hourly rate that increases based on performance and obtaining certifications. We offer Medical & Dental insurance, Profit Sharing and Per Diem and a company vehicle for the lead man.
