Director, Maintenance

  • Position Summary:
    • Provides leadership, direction, and administration of all aspects of the maintenance department, plant facilities, and grounds. Plans, directs, and coordinates, through staff of skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled trade personnel, activities concerned with the maintenance and construction of buildings and grounds. Actively involved in matters such as design and development of plant facilities, formulation of operating rules, regulations, and procedures. Formulates procedures for use in event of accidents, fires, or other emergencies. Inspects plant facilities or reviews inspection reports, to determine repairs, replacement, or improvements required. Reviews reports or expenditures for previous fiscal year and proposed improvements to facilities in order to prepare budget estimates for upcoming fiscal year

    • Minimum Education:  Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or related field
    • Minimum Experience
    • Five years management /supervisory experience in facility maintenance of a similar or larger size facility
    • Engineering or Project Management expertise preferred
    • Required Registration/License/Certification
    • Current Kansas Driver's License with clear driving record\
    • Certified Health Facility Manager designation, or completion within one-year of employment

Director, Health Information Management

Position Summary: Provides leadership, direction, and administration of all aspects of the health information management department. Responsible for record processing and completion, transmission, indexing, abstracting, coding, filing, storage, trauma registry, transcription, retrieval, release of information, suspension process with physicians and maintenance of systems processes. Responsible for the overall management of the health information department activity to include establishment and compliance with policies for the health information function. Represents the health center in all activities related to areas of responsibility. Maintains active communication with health center leadership and staff. Functions as the HIPAA Privacy Officer for the health center.

Position Qualifications: Minimum Education, Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Science from an accredited program in health information. Minimum Experience,  Five years management /supervisory experience. Experience with HIPAA regulations preferred. Required Registration/License/Certification,RHIA (Registered Health Information )
