We are currently hiring for a Purchasing Associate
Position of Purchasing Associate will have close interaction with vendors and will manage their interaction and relationship with the company.
You will be responsible for issuing purchase orders which allocate the material required to fill customer demands and meet ship dates. Has the responsibility to identify suppliers, place and expedite purchase orders. Purchase items at the most favorable price, consistent with quality, quantity, and specifications requirements.
Education and Experience
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems
- Two years related purchasing experience
- High School Diploma
Technical Skills/Knowledge
- Must have excellent negotiation skills
Must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Independent judgment is required
