Physician Relations Associate
Position Summary: The Physician Relations Associate serves as a dedicated relationship manager, facilitates referral flow to Salina Regional Health Center (SRHC) from referring entities and is responsible for enhancing the lines of communication between referring, non-SRHC physicians and SRHC specialists. These responsibilities include building and supporting relationships, identification of service improvement opportunities coordinating and disseminating information about Salina Regional Health Center acting as a key resource for internal and external clients and identifying new business opportunities with referring physicians and customers.
Position Requirements: Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, marketing or related field. Minimum Experience: 3 years experience in healthcare related sales, public relations, marketing or related field. Prior pharmaceutical or health care device sales experience preferred. Required Registration/License/Certification: Valid Kansas driver's license with a clear driving record. Physical Demands: Light physical effort (lift/carry up to 10 pounds). Manual dexterity and mobility. Prolonged, extensive or considerable standing/walking. Ability to walk distances and climb stairs. Working Conditions: Mostly sedentary work. Subject to many interruptions; pressure due to importance of work. Subject to varying and unpredictable situations. Travel required, Subject to telephone calls and meeting with individuals in the early morning, evenings and/or weekends as needed to enhance recruitment efforts.

CARDIOVASCULAR INVASIVE TECHNOLOGIS

Position Summary: The Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist is a health care professional that is qualified by specific didactic, laboratory, and clinical technological education, through the utilization of specialized equipment and under the direction of a qualified physician, performs various cardiovascular/peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures on patients. Resulting in an accurate diagnosis and/or optimal treatment of cardiovascular disease while maintaining maximum patient safety and comfort. The Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist acts as a first assistant during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures; performs/reviews a baseline patient assessment, evaluates patient response to diagnostic or interventional maneuvers and medications during Cardiac/IR/Vascular procedures, contributes to the efficient operations; and promotes a philosophy ensuring quality and continuity of patient care.
Position Qualifications: Minimum Education: Associate's Degree from an accredited radiology or respiratory therapy program. Minimum Experience: Minimum of one year hospital experience within the past five years. One year invasive cardiology experience preferred. Required Registration/License/Certification: Current Kansas ARRT and LRT license; or current Kansas CRT or RRT license. ACLS, BLS Certifications to be obtained within 90 days of employment
Full Time Mon-Friday 6:30am-3:00pm, On-Call every 3rd weekend, 1 or 2 days a week
HEALTH INFORMATION MGMT CODER RHIT
Position Summary: The coder assures quality and timely submission of demographic and diagnostic information for data retrieval and reimbursement. The position performs retrospective coding of diagnosis for all acute, inpatient records and other classifications as required by third party payors. In addition, the coder monitors the KFMC DRG inquiries and follows-up as needed. Codes diagnoses/procedures utilizing ICD-9-CM Disease Classification System. Outpatient coding is performed utilizing CPT classification system. Assists with monitoring completion of final diagnoses to facilitate timely claim submission.
Position Qualifications: Minimum Education: Associates degree in Health Information Science from an accredited program in health information. Minimum Experience: One year coding experience in a hospital setting preferred. Required Registration/License/Certification: Accreditation as an R.H.I.T.

Position Summary: The medical technologist performs a variety of laboratory tests, procedures and related duties, in order to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease, by following established standards and practices. The medical technologist is responsible for the orderly processing of patient specimens during the assigned work shift. This includes specimen collection, testing, processing, and reporting of accurate results. Includes issue resolution in the pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical phases. The technologist maintains active communication and strengthens collaborative relationships among the pathologists, medical staff, nursing units, their specific section, and other lab staff.
Position Qualifications: Minimum Education: Bachelors degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology or related field. Minimum Experience: Required clinical internship in a MT/MLS approved program Required Registration/License/Certification: MT(ASCP) OR MLS(ASCP)

RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST ULTRASOUND
Position Summary: The Ultrasound technologist performs diagnostic/therapeutic Ultrasound examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician. The technologist performs diagnostic medical ultrasound on all patient populations (neonate through geriatric) and exhibits superior levels of customer service. The technologist effectively operates ultrasound equipment to produce quality images in a variety of settings (Radiology Department, Operating Room, patient's bedside and the Imaging Center). The technologist explains procedures and answers question for the patient. The technologist demonstrates appropriate patient positioning to obtain optimum views of specified anatomy. The technologist adjusts equipment controls to set proper protocol based on knowledge of the procedure and established guidelines. The technologist assists the Radiologist, when necessary. The technologist interacts with numerous computer programs and systems on a daily basis.
Position Qualifications: Minimum Education: Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology or and approved Ultrasound technology program. Minimum Experience: One year hospital experience preferred. Required Registration/License/Certification: ARRT, Abdomen and Vascular Certification preferred, BLS Certification within 90 days of employment
