Radiology Technologist

Position Summary: The Diagnostic Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic medical radiographic procedures on all patient populations (neonate through geriatric) and exhibits superior levels of customer service. The technologist effectively operates radiographic equipment to produce quality images in a variety of settings (Radiology Department, Emergency Department, Operating Room, or at the patient's bedside). The technologist explains procedures to the patient, demonstrates appropriate patient positioning, and obtains optimum views of specified anatomy. The technologist adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors based on knowledge of the procedure and established guidelines. The technologist demonstrates effective radiation safety practices and assists the Radiologist, when necessary. The technologist interacts with numerous computer programs and systems on a daily basis. The technologist may also perform various other duties as assigned by the Radiology Supervisor or Director of Radiology.

Position Qualifications:  Minimum Education; Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology. Minimum Experience; Registered or registry eligible Radiologic Technologist. Required Registration/License/Certification; American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT) or graduate student eligible for exam, Kansas License for Radiology Technology, Basic Life Support certification will be accepted from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Health Care Provider, or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider), or successfully completes within the first 90 days of employment.

Radiologic Technologist MRI

        Position Summary: The MRI technologist performs MRI procedures on all patient populations (neonate through geriatric) and exhibits superior levels of customer service. The technologist effectively operates MRI equipment to produce quality images in a variety of settings (Radiology Department and the Imaging Center). The technologist explains procedures to the patient, answers questions for the patient and ensures patient comfort. The technologist will use proper coils and proper positioning to ensure patient safety. The technologist adjusts equipment controls to set protocol factors based on knowledge of the procedure and established guidelines. The technologist assists the Radiologist, when necessary. The technologist interacts with numerous computer programs and systems on a daily basis.

  Position Qualifications: Minimum Education; Graduate of an AMA approved School of  Radiologic Technology Minimum Experience; One year hospital experience preferred, Required Registration/License/Certification; ARRT, MRI Certification or certification eligible, BLS Certification within 90 days of employment

Respiratory Therapist    

JOB SUMMARY:  

This position is responsible for independently performing respiratory care procedures which requires the ability to interpret physician orders, assess patient needs, deliver prescribed therapy and evaluate patient response. This includes invasive procedures that may be performed with minimal supervision and minor assistance in patient care units and critical care areas. Therapists will serve in a consulting role by communicating suggestions to other members of the clinical team regarding the respiratory care delivered to patients in all areas of the hospital. The position requires the ability to respond promptly to changes in workload and make adjustments in assignments as needed to achieve optimal productivity, efficacy and quality patient care.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum Education
    • Associate degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited program
  • Minimum Experience
    • 1 year Respiratory Care experience preferred
  • Required Registration/License/Certification
    • Current Kansas license or eligible for Kansas license
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the NBRC

Sleep Center Technologist

JOB SUMMARY:  

The Sleep Center Technologist works under the general supervision of the medical director and the Sleep Center Manager; is able to help provide comprehensive evaluation sleep studies and treatment of sleep disorders. This may involve Polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services or patient care and education. A Staff Sleep Technologist can perform the duties defined for a Polysomnographic Technician.

REQUIREMENTS:Minimum Education: Associate degree in Respiratory Care or a healthcare related field.  Minimum Experience: 1 year Sleep Technology experience preferred.  Registration/License/Certification: Current Kansas Respiratory Therapy license or eligible for Kansas license with Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the NBRC OR RPSGT certification.  BLS certification to be obtained within first 90 days of employment.

Physical Therapist

JOB SUMMARY:  Evaluates patients, plans and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the professional practice of Physical Therapy. Works closely with Occupational Health Physicians to advance the practice of Occupational Medicine in the community and region.

REQUIREMENTS:Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, Masters of Physical Therapy, Doctorate of Physical Therapy preferred. Minimum Experience: Hospital experience preferred. Required Registration/License/Certification: Current Kansas Physical Therapist license or eligible for licensure. CPR certification(Basic Cardiac Life Support [American Red Cross-CPR for the Professional Rescuer] or Basic Life Support [American Heart Association-Health Care Provider] certification obtained within 90 days of employment

Position Qualifications, Minimum Education, Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology, Minimum Experience, Hospital experience preferred, Required Registration/License/Certification, Current Kansas Speech Language Pathology license or eligible for licensure, Certificate of Clinical Competence of eligible to obtain, CPR certification (Basic Cardiac Life Support [American Red Cross-CPR for the Professional Rescuer] or Basic Life Support [American Heart Association-Health Care Provider] obtained within 90 days

Full Time Day position Monday thru Friday
